Sony will present PSP 2 on June 15 at E3

The PSP 2 is rumoured to feature two cameras, one front-facing and one backward facing, a touch screen and PlayStation digital and analogue controls as well as 3G connectivity all powered by a four-core Cell CPU. Just like PSP Go the PSP 2 will not have a UMD slot.

PSP 2 is going to be very powerfull and it will have improved graphics thanks to a four-core Cell CPU. Sony wants to use latest technology in PSP 2 because they have to compete not only with consoles but with other new generation devices like smartphones and netbooks.

Remember that Apple has just released Ipad in USA and will release Iphone 4G soon and Nintendo will release Nintendo 3DS console.
