Sony released it's latest and final electronic comics shop update for that Sony Playstation Portable, shuttering its online store with simply over 4000 comics available to select from. No reason was handed for the actual closure, however the pending appearance of Sony's next-generation portable system, PS Vita, could be described as a factor within the decision.

"This week would be the final revise for electronic comics about the PSP, inch said Gracie Chen, director from the PlayStation Shop, through the site's blog. ""The Digital Comics Team will continue to work on bringing the comic service to other Sony devices. We'll make sure to keep you updated with any future developments right here on the PlayStation Blog."
